Costa Rica : Nature’s Paradise

“The love of wilderness is more than a hunger for what is always beyond reach; it is also an expression of loyalty to the earth,…the only paradise we ever need, if only we had the eyes to see.” – Edward Paul Abbey With summer vacation upon us, it is easy to daydream about going away on an exotic vacation. Although it may not always be possible, with books like Nature’s Paradise: Costa Rica by Douglas Goodell and Marco Saborio, it is easy to escape, at least for a few minutes. Nature’s Paradise is packed with stunning pictures of the landscape, the wildlife, and the crops. The photographic expertise is conveyed in each of his beautiful images whether it be of a Howler Monkey resting in a tree to a pair of Great Green Macaws or a panoramic view looking over the Tarcoles river and agricultural valley. Each image is bright, colorful, plus, the book is full of details about the animals and scenery of Costa Rica that go into delightful detail. This astonishing look at Costa Rica is enough to transport you on a mini-escape. It may be just what you need this summer!
