Strawberry Orange Syrup

Really, this shouldn’t be called a syrup because it is so thick and delicious, but it can’t really be called a sauce because that doesn’t do justice to the stunningly simple recipe with no added sugar. Honestly, I feel like I am cheating you a bit today because this is the easiest “recipe” ever. Regardless of what you call it, enjoy this on some pancakes, waffles, or toast and relish the fact that you only took minutes to make it. . . . Strawberry Orange Syrup 1/4 cup water 1 orange, peeled and cut in half 2 pints strawberries, stems removed 1.Add ingredients listed to your Vitamix or other high-powered blender in the order above. Blend, working through the cycles, then switching to high, for a total of about 1 minute. 2. Transfer the syrup to a small saucepan over high heat. Bring to a boil for 1 minute, then reduce to low. Cook for 5 minutes, or until thickened. Enjoy while warm.
